Soča

Flyfishing is the only kind of fishing allowed and you are restricted to one fly only, tied to a single hook, no doubles or trebles are allowed. You may fish with dry flies, wet flies, nymphs or streamers. Any type of line and leader can be used. It is mandatory to use barbless hooks on all rivers. In the reservoir fishing from a boat is allowed.

Tolminka

In the river Trebuščica the fishing season ends on 20.10.

All marble trout longer than 70 cm and grayling longer than 55 cm that you retain must be reported to the Tolmin Fishing Club.

Daily limits

The permit for the Zone 1 entitles you to retain three (3) salmonids per day, but only one (1) marble trout and one (1) grayling. The permit allows you to keep only one fish over 50 cm per day.

In the Zone Catch & Release it is not allowed to take any fish.
When you fish with Catch & Release permit in the Zone 1, you are also not allowed to take any fish..

The fishing permit is valid only for the person and the day entered. A child under the age of 15 may also fish on your permit, but under your supervision and responsibility. Available are also discounted permits for 3 and 5 days.

Any convertible currency will be accepted at the current exchange rate. Issued fishing permits can not be changed. There is also no refund on such tickets for whatever reason.

Trebuščica

Permits are not transferable and are valid for the named purchaser only. All permits can be purchased at authorised local agencies.

The annual fishing permit is sold by the office only and is non-transferable.

FISHING GUIDES are available if the advance booking at the Fishing Association’s office has been made. We advise that the price should be agreed with the respective guide before fishing.
